Book Review: ‘The Reunion: A Novel’ By Kit Frick

Elizabeth Acker-Mayweather has a large family, and it’s time for them all to all get together with Austin Hunt, her fiancé, and his son Theo, at a luxury resort in Cancun. It’s the first time they will all be together, all eleven of them. There’s a lot of tension among the younger set, most are teens, and they all have many secrets among themselves. And over the course of the week we learn them all, and by the time of the engagement party on the last night, one of them will be dead. This is a well-written psychological thriller, with some many twists and turns, you don’t want to put the book down. It’s a perfect Labor Day weekend book to end your summer.
