Sierra caught her husband cheating on her and went out to a bar for some drinks and met the very hot, sexy Kane and they spent a hot night together having great sex. The only catch was it would be one night and no names were ever exchanged. Four years later Sierra has moved to the Outer Banks and opened a successful store called Flirt. Her sister, Aspen, and her boyfriend, Brick, live there and life if mostly good for her. She dates on occasion but no one has really interested her. Kane has also moved here, he is best friends with Brick and they soon run into each other and it freaks them both out. Kane has never gotten over her or that night and wants to see if they can have something. She wants nothing to do with him, but he wears her down and soon they’re dating and having hot sex (some steamy scenes). Everything seems to be going well for them until Kane’s job gets in the way and it could cost him Sierra. This is a well-written rom-com that hits all the right notes. The chemistry between Sierra and Kane is hot and it’s fun watching him trying to win her. A perfect summer beach read.
