Strange things are happening in the world and it’s up to Lamont Cranston, the shadow, to try and save humanity. A series of natural disasters have hit in various parts of the world, including a deadly viral outbreak. Lamont and his crew are trying to track down the person responsible, who turns out to be an old nemesis, and a deadly showdown takes place in Africa, and one of Lamont’s crew will not make it out alive. Meanwhile, Maddy is learning her powers and gets involved with a young girl and a drug ring working the streets and someone doesn’t want her interfering. This is the third novel in this Shadow series and it’s intense and well-written. This is a page-turning novel, with enough twists to keep you engaged in the story.
