Three women who have had bad luck lately in the men department decide to get away for a few days from New York City. Sam, Diane and Margaret rent a car and get plenty of wine as they head to the Adirondacks. Two hours out on their trip as they stop for gas, the key to their car vanishes in Catskill, NY. They find a house to stay in and have the car towed with hopes of having a new key made. Then things all go to hell. Turnsout Sam’s ex Harry lives here after walking out on her two months ago. Margaret’s ex has also followed her here. And Diane is worried her stalked ex will show up. At a bar that night Diane vanishes and Sam and Margaret go to the police. And as they investigate all kinds of shocking secrets come out. Seems no one has been telling the truth much among these 3 women. Shocking twist after twist keeps the readers guessing. A great page-turning novel to start the new year out.

You can pick up The Perfect Escape in stores on Tuesday, January 4th from Putnam.
