Inspired by a real life story, The Patient’s Secret is one great novel. It starts off strong and never lets up. With so many twists and turns, you’ll need a scorecard to keep track. Just when you think you might have it figured out, bam another twist. You will not want to put this one down. Might make my top-10 books of the year. Lily is married to Tom and they have two kids, a really nice house in a nice neighborhood and each have successful jobs. But their lives are about to take a big turn. Tom finds a dead body belonging to Harper, who is new in the neighborhood, while out running and when he gets home calls 911. The police show up but don’t believe his story. As they investigate, truths are revealed and any number of people could be responsible for the murder. The book goes back in time by weeks and days and in the present and every question is answered and every secret revealed. If you’re a fan of pyschological thrillers, this is the book for you.

You can pick up The Patient’s Secret in stores on Tuesday, March 8th.
