It’s 1889 in Paris and the World’s Fair is coming. For Vincent and his family it’s a busy time. He helps build secret passageways and escape routes for those who want to hide things. He’s good at keeping secrets and keeping his brother and two other friends safe in their secret hideway work space. And now Charles has come to him for help in finding a secret passage that may contain something valuable. And with this job his life and those of his family are at risk. Someone else wants this information and will use whatever methods necessary. It involves dark magic, ghosts and mystical features that are hard to believe. It all leads to a shocking showdown where lives may be lost.

A solid mysterious thriller set in a perfect location during a perfect time era. You root for Vincent and his family throughout the novel and are taken on quite the wild ride.
