Ifran Mirza is a bad-ass man, who people hire for protection and is not afraid to kill. As a child, he was kidnapped and trained to be an elite man for hire, and now is a freelance mercenary. In a Middle Eastern country, the current King has killed or put in prison people who oppose him. He has captured Prince Mahmud, who was with the former regime and has spoken out, along with his fiance, Renata, who is like a sister to Irfan, and badass as well. Ifran decides he’s going to find and rescue them. Omen, she is bad-ass as well, and who has a flirty relationship with Ifram, is along to help him on his mission. Also helping them are Finn and Bey the hacker. Their journey takes the two to a desert compound and it’s the two of them against a prison full of bad guys. Ifran likes his odds. Move over Lee Child, Mark Greaney, Jack Carr, there’s a new action-adventure author in town, who has written an awesome novel, as good as any of those authors. I can’t wait for more adventures with these characters.
