There are two worlds the mortal world of earth and a magical world. It’s divide by a magical force field which is crumbling. And now magic is crumbling and it’s up to a goblin to fix it using a newborn changeling. Kull is in charge of swapping a human baby for a goblin baby but gets distracted and never does it as he gets distracted and doesn’t know which is which. Now there are twin boys where there was only one.
Now twelve years (almost thirteen) late Tinn and Cole are as close as brothers can be. Neither one knows who is human and who is the goblin. And it’s time for one of them to return to the world of magic. Kull leaves them a note that one must come. No one ever dares go into the magic woods but they both decide they will go. They leave a note for their mother and head on in where they encounter danger. They get lost, run into a large bear a wicked witch, magical vines and more. Their mother is right behind them going to rescue her boys. They soon come across the goblins and find out which one is a goblin and how to save magic before it’s too late.
This is a really fun book set in a magical kingdom with interesting characters. The story moves quickly and you really want to know which boy is the goblin and what their fate will ultimately be. This is the first in a series and I for one cannot wait for the next adventure.
