To save the future one woman must take a dangerous trip to the past. A thrilling story of secret time tunnels, drugs and a powerful corporation, who will stop at nothing to see that their plan will go forward. A blast from start to finish. Jean is kind of a loner with a painful past and has just quit her job with a famous doctor. She is now bartending and helping out at a restaurant overnights preparing prep. She goes from one job right to the other barely having time to get to the second one. Then she’s told about shortcuts, secret passageways that allow you to get from one place to another quickly, jumping through time. There are rules to using it…only at night and during certain times…and always go forward not backward, or you go back in time and can be stuck somewhere. When Iggy her co-worker (and the person who told her about shortcuts) goes missing, Jean and her few friends investigate what happened to him and the history of shortcuts. It leads to a startling find involving her past and to save the future, she must go to the past and it could cost her everything.

You can pick up The Night Shift in stores on Tuesday, July 12th from Park Row.
