Talia, Pallas, and Amelia all have psychic abilities, and months ago something happened to them to enhance their powers. They do a podcast, and Phoebe, a fan of the show, calls in, and claims to have a list of other possible people that had their abilities altered as well. When she heads off to meet her in Seattle, she is nowhere to be seen, but Luke Rand is there, also looking for the info, who thinks he was experimented on. All clues lead to an island called Night Island, and that’s where they head. They decide to go there as a married couple, and find the island is not that friendly. No cell service or Wi-Fi is available. Mysterious things are happening here, ferry service is not coming, and bad weather has hit. Along the way the two fall for each other, but they need to figure out this island, and how to save their lives. Nobody writes this kind of novel better than Jayne Ann Krentz. A slow build leads to an exciting novel that you want to keep reading along.
