Adam is married to Sarah, and they live in a small suburban neighborhood. The neighbor Ali lives across the street, and she’s been seeing Kemp, who she has broken off with, and has an overbearing mother, who will not leave her son alone. Adam lost his job for watching porn in his office, and is now a stay at home dad, while Sarah works as a school teacher. You’d think they would live boring lives, but no. They all have secrets. One is having an affair, one is obsessed with another one, and by the time the book is over, someone will be dead, and there will be all sorts of twists and turns. Just who escapes this wicked, twisty tale, is a miracle. Fans of soapy, neighborhood novels will enjoy this one.
You can pick up The Neighbors We Want in stores on Tuesday, September 5th from Crooked Lane.
