The year is 1892 and Lady Amy Lovell is getting married to Lord William Wethington. Amy is an amateur sleth and writer under a pen name. Her great-aunt Aunt Lady Priscilla has offered up her home for a wedding breakfast before the couple head out on their honeymoon. At the breakfast Alice Finch, one of the guests is poisoned and now the search is on for the killer. Amy and William postpone their trip and soon Amy is on the case feeling the have the wrong person. The main supsect is Alice’s husband Albert, who would gain a lot of money from her estate. Then a second body is found and Amy is determined to find the killer no matter what. Sharply written with some LOL moments and fun characters, the third book is another fun one in the series.
