Maggie Chase is a successful author, who is spending her first Christmas alone since her husband left her, and took half her money. It’s also a time of the year when other bad things have happened to her, so she plans to spend it alone. Ethan Wyatt, is another successful author, and they have the same publishing house, and she doesn’t like him. They receive suprise invitations to have Christmas in London, with Eleanor Ashley, a very successful author, and Maggie’s idol. Neither one knew the other was invited, until they’re on the plane, and instant snark takes place. Eleanor has invited a bunch of other people to the house as well, and then she vanishes while in her office. Maggie and Ethan are on the case, thinking at first it’s a game she put together, to choose one of the authors to replace her in writing her novels. When another guest is poisoned, they soon figure out it’s not a game, and set out to find out who the killer is. Along the way they fall for each other, figure out what’s going on, and try to stay alive. Another fun rom-com full of mystery, twists and love. Fans of these kind of novels will enjoy this one.
