The sequel to the first novel, The Ex-Girlfriend Murder Club, picks up where the first novel ended. Elle is in prison for the murder of Tucker Jones, Kat is dating Adrian and has gotten a new job, and Olivia is looking for a new man. When Mandy Thorne, who hosts a revenge podcast and was the one who said Kat killed her boyfriend, asks the two women for help. She is getting death threats and wants Kat and Olivia to figure out who is after her. Neither is interested, until guilt gets to Kat and she decides to take a look at what is going on with Mandy, with help from Elle, who is in prison and become The Mortal Enemy Murder Club. This book has all the charm, wit, and fun of the first book. Kat’s mom is back and is as annoying as ever, often providing the comic relief. Fans of the first book will enjoy this one.
