Bells Mortevue is a witch, except her powers were taken away when she was six because of what her parents did. She lives in the mortal world but gets a job at the Endless Library, in a magical land, that she has to take a portal to go back and forth. Rhett Waltham is a hunter; he kills monsters in the human world and is entering the hunter’s competition to hopefully win one of the prizes to try and save his sick dad, who is human, and was bit by a wolf. He is secretly doing research in the library, and his path keeps crossing with Bells, and there is an attraction. They finally become friends and more and are on the road to happiness when someone seems to be out to get her, and Rhett, and soon the library is left dying, and Rhett finds his life in danger. Bells, with the help of her sister and a demon who lives in the basement of the library, and it leads to a showdown to save all their lives. This is a fun, magical rom-com that hits all the right notes. The two lead characters are hot, and their chemistry is off the charts. The supporting characters add a lot here, especially Scottie the ghost. This one should not be missed.
