The Brake Inn motel is in west Texas on a deserted road that leads to Mexico. It’s also the site where 50 years ag, 12 people vanished. Ethan and Hunter have left where they were living, heading for California when they hit the motel. Also, there is Sarah, Kayla and Fernada, Stanley and his granddaughter, and two mysterious people who run the inn. There’s something sinister about this place, and after midnight, mysterious creatures come out of the mountains, and people are dying, and the guests come to the conclusion that they cannot leave. Nothing is as it seems, shocking secrets are revealed and just what is going on at this mysterious inn in the middle of nowhere? This is an incredible psychological horror mystery. It starts off strong and never lets up. A whole lot more goes here than I written about, but that would be spoilers. This is one book you will not want to put down. A perfect Halloween season novel.
