The Year is 1988 and Meredith has gotten a job working on the wardrobe of Princess Diana and gets close to William, one of her co-workers. In 2018 Jayne works as a dog walker and when one of her dogs runs into Meridith’s apartment, she lives on the first floor, she’s shocked at what she finds. The apartment is a mess and Meredith claims she lives there with William and her daughter, but there’s no sign of either of them. Jayne decides she’s going to find William and the only clue she has is a dress once worn by Diana, with a note from the Princess and it leads Jayne and Meredith on a voyage to learn the truth. A heartwarming novel about friendship, dresses and the royal family. This one will keep you emotionally invested in the story.
