Julia owns a bed and breakfast in upstate New York. She bought the house from her former neighbor’s parents, and her once best friend, Ethan. They had a falling out eight years ago and haven’t talked since. Now, out of the blue, he texts her and tells her he needs her help. Ethan works in PR for a big agency handling top Hollywood talent, and he screwed up with a client. He wants to rent out the house with two young clients, and he’s going to make it seem like they are together on a romantic getaway and leak it to the press. Julia agrees, and it brings up old memories for both of them. Soon, the attraction between the two is out of control, they band, the secret is out about the inn and the stars, and both Ethan and Julia learn a secret that could break them up. We learn via flashback chapters their history, their friendship, and their fight. Another good summer rom-com, with two characters you root for and want to be together.
