Dani Gutierrez, a librarian in Grand Rapids, is in Greece, an ode to her late best friend, Theo, who reportedly died a year ago in Greece, and she booked a trip to Greece to see the land he loves, she was also secretly in love with Theo. His loss was devastating to her and his loved ones. While on her tour, she spots Theo, very much alive, in a cave. He’s being held hostage by an artifact smuggler, Peter Vautour, who wants the long-rumored gemstone, the eye of the Minotaur. When Dani goes looking again for Theo, she’s captured and held along with Theo, and he has told them the two are engaged. They have been given a week to find the gem and fake a romance as they search for the mythical gem. They finally admit their feelings and have hot sex. They also get help escaping their captors, and they think they might know where the gem is, but soon find things are not that easy. This is the third and final novel in the Lost Hearts series, and it’s another good one. These novels are a lot of fun, sexy and easy to read. Fans of the first two novels in this series will enjoy this one, as will new fans.
