Lexi Clark has not had the easiet life, her parents split when she was young and she left with her dad. Her mother didn’t fight for her, got remarried and had another daughter, Ashley, six years younger than Lexi. Now her mother has passed away and Lexi has to return to Sunrise Cove and is dreading it. She and her sister are somewhat close and then she sees Heath, the man she had a crush on for years and was spurned by. Her mother’s will says she and Ashley have to deliver letters to people one year after her death and after she had won the lottery and it has to be done over six weeks and whatever money is left will go to the girls. Over the days and weeks, she and Heath become close and fall in love and she hashes stuff out with her sister and just when it seems things might work out she finds out some secrets that change everything and she wonders what to do with her life. This is another great novel in this series with flawed characters who need to work out their issues and watching this happen is enlightening, as well as the love story between the two. Jill Shalvis can do no wrong.
