Thea is a social worker at the psychiatric hospital and on this day a woman is brought in a catatonic state. Thea swears she knows her and finally figures out she is an actress named Catherine, who was in one of Thea’s favorite movies. When she wakes she can’t remember anything and then is released to strangers who claim to be her parents. Thea follows her trail to a center in New Mexico, that claims to help people in their lives by removing bad things that have happened to them, but to Thea it feels like a cult. When she finds Catherine, she’s warned to leave, and Thea soon learns the shocking secret of why she’s there. With no one to trust, her life is in danger and it leads to a shocking finale. An intense psychological thriller, that starts off fast and never lets up. This one is a page-turner.
