James Patterson, Casey Sherman and Dave Wedge have written a great account of the life of John Lennon from his start early into music until the day he was shot. Remarkely researched and new interviews with those that knew John and his life, make for an intense retelling of his life. The books tells stories I had never heard before in regards to John and the Beatles with their getting together, breaking up and John moving on with his new life, music and relationships. Throughout the book we also get into the mind of Mark David Chapman, the man that killed John Lennon and what led up to it. Just a fascinating book with new insights that I never knew before about Lennon.

You can pick up The Last Days Of John Lennon in stores on Monday, December 7th from Little Brown.
