Amerie Price is recently single, and jobless, with plans to start her own event planning business, after getting fired from her job. She’s having coffee when she runs into Vincent, who is an astronaut and spills coffee all over him. They run into each other again at the coffee shop, and she pretends that he’s her new boyfriend in front of her ex. He goes along with it and asks her to return the favor and be his pretend girlfriend at a week-long get-together with his family, he also agrees to let her live in his spare bedroom for free while she gets back on her feet. Well, we know how this goes, and they soon fall for each other, until she gets freaked out about his space missions, time apart, and her own personal issues, and now has to figure out what she wants before it’s too late. This is a really fun, well-written rom-com, that hits all the right notes, and the whole space parts of the story make for a fun novel. This is a winner.
