Gabriela Rose, who is a recovery agent and owns her own business, can find just about anything. When her hot, but annoying ex-husband, Rafer Jones, shows up, along with his cousin, Harley, she just knows there’s trouble to follow. Harley is the president of a bank, and recently insured a lot of money for precious artifacts, like the Rosata Stone, and a gold coffin, featuring a mummy. When these things are stolen, the bank is on the hook for paying out the value of them, and Harley’s job and life are on the line. Gabriela decides to help them, and they are soon off to London, Egypt, Milan and back to the United States. Along the way, a mysterious man is following them, there are kidnappings, rescues, and Gabriela and Rafer bantering back and forth, with some funny LOL moments, and Rafer trying to sleep with her at every turn. This is the second novel in this series, and it’s really good. The two lead characters are a hoot, and the supporting cast helps liven up the story, with Harley and driver Jim being highlights. This one is a winner.
