Emily Edwards is an emergency room doctor, who is dumped by her boyfriend, three weeks before they’re to go to Isle Royale National Park, in Michigan. She’s going there to honor her late father, who died a year ago, and scatter some of his ashes. She ends up hiring a tour guide, Ryder Fleet, who tried to take over his late brother’s tour guide business, but failed, and now does random jobs to get by. When they meet on the boat going to the island things don’t go so well. On the island, he admits he’s not much of a tour guide, but is doing the best he can. When they witness a murder, over an expensive diamond, they have to run for their lives on this small island. Along the way, they fall for each other and face attemped murders on their lives. This is a fun, old-fashioned run for your live rom-com, with two compelling characters and a fun story.
