It’s been a quiet time for the Thursday Murder Club. Things are about to pick up at the wedding of Joyce’s daughter when the best man, Nick, approaches Elizabeth asking for help, someone is trying to kill him. Nick is missing the next day when she goes to visit him and Elizabeth gets the gang together, Ron, Joyce and Ibrahim and an investigation is undertaken. They meet with Holly, they have a business where people can store their valuables in an underground bunker that is secure. Turns out Nick and Holly have a Bitcoin from years ago that is now worth a lot of money and each of them has a six-digit code to open their vault. Holly is killed and Nick is missing and now the group need to find the codes in order to secure the Bitcoin. There are also side stories involving Ron’s family and Connie and an attempted robbery. This is the fifth novel in the series and it’s another good one. All the fun supporting characters are involved in the plot and the lol moments we’ve come to expect. Fans of the series will enjoy this one.

PS Make sure to watch the TV adaption of the first novel now streaming on Netflix.
