Mark St. Johns is a private detective, known as the Falcon, after his legendary Grandparents, who were alse private detectives. On this day a young girl, Abani Singh, who is 12, comes into his office asking for help. She saw a driverless car kill a man, and no on seems to believe her that the car had no driver. At first he doesn’t believe her, until he sees people following her as she leaves his offices. After some digging he takes on the case, and says her and her mother from men trying to break into their home. Mark believes the dying man, who Abani tried to help, somehow gave her something valuable, that someone wants back.
It all leads to a dangerous cult that want to unleash a dangerous virus, and Mark, his partners, the police, and the FBI all work together to try and stop this before it happens. This is a fun, entertaining novel, with a great character in Mark St. Johns, who commands the novel. Hopefully, there will be more stories with these characters.
