Jim and his college friends formed a close-knit group and are family. Then he married, Valentia, and they had twins. He inherited a beach house on Buzzards Bay Every year Jim and his family go there for the summer and the friends, Bruce, Rami, Maya and her partner Shannon are always invited, but with busy lives, not all can attend. This year everyone is able to come and the last to arrive is Bruce, who has a chip on his shoulder about something. After a fight with Jim, he vanishes without telling anyone. Then Camille arrives claiming that Bruce invited her, someone is dead and the group unravels. This is an intense character-driven novel that ratches up the tension the more you read. This one is not to be missed.
