Holly and Ivy are best friends since they met in college, and not a day goes by when they don’t talk. It’s time for Holly and her longtime boyfriend Matt to get married, and then go to Hawaii for a Christmas Honeymoon. The night before the wedding, Matt breaks up with her, and confesses he has someone else. The honeymoon is nonrefundable, and Holly says she isn’t going to use it and tells Ivy to instead, and Holly will go to the Hudson Valley cabin she reserved for two weeks. In Hawaii, Ivy meets the hunky Oliver, and Ivy meets Aiden, who it turns out she went to high school with, and had a bit of a rivalry over grades. As the days progress, both women and men, each fall for each other, and it freaks out Holly and Ivy, and they have to figure out where, if at all, these relationships will go. A story about friendship and new loves. Each setting works perfectly in the novel, and it’s fun watching all of them falling in love. Fans of rom-coms will enjoy this one.
