Book Review: ‘The Hike: A Novel’ By Lucy Clarke

Every year Liz, Maggie, Joni, and Helena go on a vacation, each year one of them gets to pick the location. This year, Liz decides to go camping and hiking in the mountains of Norway. There’s a trail that leads up and back, and it will take about four days to do it. Once they’re up there, things go all wrong. The weather gets bad, and they find shelter in a cave full of cocaine, and the bracelet of a dead girl a year ago. They get lost, shocking secrets are revealed, they are being stalked, and one of them will not make it back alive. Another thrilling novel from author Lucy Clarke, who never writes a bad novel. Chapters are told from different characters points of views, and this one keeps you engaged throughout.

You can pick up The Hike in stores on Tuesday, August 29th from Atria.
