A great debut novel that is all action from the very beginning, with great characters and a story that you want to keep on reading. If you’re a fan of The Gray Man, Jack Ryan, Orphan X and Jason Bourne, this is right up your alley. John Dale was let go by the CIA years ago in a bad way. And now they need him back and he has no interest. His ex-wife and former handler Meredith, who is still with the CIA is asked to try and get him back. When she meets with him they’re followed and he has to shoot his way out to save his life. An old asset who worked with John and will only work with him again now, is insisting he be the one to help him and only him. He finally comes back to the fold to help this asset escape from IRAN before it’s too late. The Russians are hot on his trail and it will take everything John and Meredith have to get him to safety, before it’s too late for everyone.

You can pick up The Handler in stores on Tuesday, May 31st from Berkley.
