Book Review: ‘The Girl In The Vault: A Novel’ By Michael Ledwidge

Faye Walker made it to New York, and an internship at Green Brothers Hale, an investment firm, that each year brings on a number of interns, and two get full time positions. Faye should get one of them, she is the best worker they have. She also has a boyfriend she loves, that’s waiting for his green card to arrive. When Faye learns she won’t be one of the ones to get promoted, she puts a plan into motion to steal some of the 10 million dollars that the firm keeps in the vault for emergency situations. She enlists Gareth, the son of one of their clients, to help fake a kidnapping, and Faye has every aspect of this plan down, and succeeds in everything going right, until she discovers Gareth dead., Someone knew about their plan, and is now after her, and in order to save herself, she needs to come up with a new plan, that includes staying alive. A solid thriller, love story, heist caper, that hits all the right notes, and is one you won’t want to put down.
