Delilah Baker hosts a cooking show on a local cable channel in Boston, which has been successful for a couple of years now. In the last couple of months, the ratings have been down, and the show is looking for something to pump up the ratings. Ian Chase is a hockey player, who played for the Boston team, owned by his parents, until six years ago, when he went to Calgary after a scandal. He’s back now and living with Jack, who is on the team, and the older brother of Delilah. The show decides to form a partnership with the team, and Ian appears on the show, and it goes great. Delilah had a crush on Ian years ago when she was young, and now they are going to pretend to be together after social media blows up. It turns into the real deal and they fall in love. When another scandal breaks involving Ian’s father, it could blow everything up for them. This is a fun rom-com that hits all the right notes with these two characters and the bromance between Ian and Jack. There ae also the hot and steamy sex scenes, and you have a great beach read.
