The year is 1938 and four crime writers, Agatha Christie, Dorothy L. Sayers, Ngaio Marsh and Margery Allingham, team up to solve a murder. They’re hosting a fundraising gala at Hursley House, home to former MP Sir Henry Heathcote, who is found dead during the event. Lilian Wyles, the first ever female DCI at Scotland Yard is assigned the case and enlists the help of the four women to solve the case. As they investigate, they find a lot of potential clues and have to figure out who did it and why. This book is a hoot. Teaming up the four writers is genius, the dialogue snappy and the story good. Hopefully, there will be more adventures with these four.
