Natalie is married to James, and they have seemed to be happy, until she discovers that he took all the money out of their account and gave it to his loser brother Will. This spirals the story to then and now, and we soon learn that Natalie has a dark side to her. She hasn’t had good relationships, and it turns out she killed her three exes. We get flashback chapters of her life, which include her family, who had an abusive father to her mother. Natalie is in therapy and soon figures out shocking things about her past, and we learn shocking secrets as well, and not everything is as it seems. Is Natalie a killing psycho or is it all in her imagination? This is a twisty novel with lots of turns you don’t see coming. A great psychological thriller.
