Book Review: ‘The Executive Order: A Novel’ By David Fisher

The year is 2024 and we are past Trump and Biden and a new President is in office. Two years later on July 11, 2026 Americans are attacked on our home soil in three different locations and a lot of people are killed or injured. Journalist Rollie Stone and his paper are all over this now after a couple of years of what seemed like normal Washington (to the extent that Washington can be normal). The President then starts rolling out Executive Orders that are taking away rights of Americans according to the Constitution. Rollie is on the case and he starts to find shocking evidence about the attacks and what is really going on. But journalists are being silenced and rounded up and now Rollie finds himself on the run, not knowing who to trust and how to get the information into the right hands. His very life depends on it.

A solid thriller from the man who co-wrote some books with Dan Abrams and has a firm grasp on a story that in the future could be something that happens. You follow along with Rollie and see what he goes through and root for him to be successful.
