CNN anchor Dana Bash has written her second book, this time on 15 elections throughout time that have changed the way we vote and have voted over the centuries. She starts off looking at Julius Caesar and in his time, how they had the first elections, until he got too power hungry and was killed. She also looks at the election of Abraham Lincoln and how it was a bitterly fought battle, which is when the Republican party was formed and the first with the south and ending slaverly. She also does chapters on FDR, Hitler, MLK, Ronald Reagan, and other elections. Each chapter is very well researched, and I learned a lot of new information I didn’t know before. With the midterms fastly approaching, this is a very timely book to read.
