Travis Devine is an ex-army Ranger, who did something to get him kicked out, and should be in jail, instead he works for a shadow US government agency. His new assignment is to find out who killed Jenny Silkwell, a CIA agent, and daughter of a powerful former Senator. The murder took place in Putnam, Maine, and her CIA issued laptop and cellphone are missing. Travis arrives in town, and finds people do not like him asking questions. He soon finds new clues, suspects, and lots of inconsistent in stories, and clues. And there are attempts on his life. He soon finds clues linking Jenny’s murders, to events of the past, and finally puts everything together, but it might be too late for him and others. The character of Travis is another kick-ass character like Orphan X, The Grey Man and Jason Bourne, and is fun to read. Hopefully there will be years of adventures with him.

You can pick up The Edge in stores on Tuesday, November 14th from Grand Central.
