Cotton Malone, Stephanie Nelle, and Cassiopeia (Cotton’s girlfriend) are all in Copenhagen, at the request of the King, whose sister, Princess Lysa, has been kidnapped. In exchange for her release, the Devil’s Bible is required for the release of the Princess. Everything is being kept quiet, and they have a day to get this done. The Russians are believed to be behind this, as is Lysa’s husband, a rich commoner named John Westlake, who allegedly is a Russian asset. We soon learn the shocking secrets of who has the Princess, what happens to her, and learn of a mole in the CIA office in Sweden. It all leads to a shocking shootout, where someone will not survive, throwing a curve into the next book and other books in the series. This is the 20th novel in the series, and it’s another action-packed thrill ride. Author Steve Berry never disappoints, and long-time fans will enjoy this new one.
