Katelyn is turning 36 and she’s having a big birthday bash at her house. She and her husband, Toby, are hosting it. Something happens at the party and the next day she wakes up in the hospital, with no memory of the night before, she’s been diagnosed with amnesia. When she gets home she starts asking questions about what happened that night and her husband claims nothing happened. When she finds strange things, like her wedding ring taken off, sexy underwear in a box, and a suggestive picture of her husband with her best friend, she is determined to figure out what’s going on. As the novel goes along, we get the points of view from the various characters, before and after, and not everything is as it seems, and Katelyn will soon find her life in danger and learns of an ultimate betrayal. A well-written, character-driven thriller, that keeps you engaged right from the beginning and through various twists and turns, with shocking reveals. A good novel to start the new year off with.
