Emma Oxley has broken up with her cheating boyfriend and has no place to go, when her best friend, Nellie Yarrow, shows up, and together they start a business, stealing jewelry items from rich men throughout Europe. They have a site on the dark web and have become very good at what they do. Five years later, a mysterious man has figured out who they are, and kidnaps Nellie and forces them to steal a famous bracelet, so he can sell it for millions. With no choice but to help this man, the women soon learn who he is and come up with a plan to turn the tables on him. This is a well-written novel, with lots of twists and turns, two good leading characters, and a fun supporting cast. At only 288 pages, it’s also an easy book to read. A perfect beach read.
