There’s nothing like a beautiful, heartwarming Christmas story of wishes, Santa Claus and unexpected love. All that and more in author Emily March’s new book The Christmas Wishing Tree, in stores now.

The story centers on two families. The Murphy’s would live in a small place in the west called Eternity Springs. It’s a small town where everyone knows each other and are friends. The oldest son Devin is visiting for the holidays. He’s about to move back to Australia for his business leaving behind his parents and his little brother. They don’t want him to go but he needs to be on the water and get on with his life. When his phone gets ruined he’s given a burner phone to use temporarily. When he gets a phone call it will change his life.

In Nashville Dr. Jenna Stockton lives with he adopted son Reilly. It’s Christmas time and Reilly’s big wish is for a father. Well that’s not happening anytime soon. Reilly uses his mom’s phone to call Santa. Well the number ends up being the phone Devin has and he plays along as Santa for Reilly (who calls many times). Meanwhile Jenna is being stalked by someone and no one can figure out who it is. She’s even been reported to the police who rush into her home and scares Reilly to death. When Devin calls Jenna to let her know about Reilly’s calls she thanks him and they get to talking.

Jenna takes Reilly and goes to Eternity Springs for Christmas the next year. She gets friendly with Devin’s family not knowing he is Santa. When the stalking continues Jenna takes Reilly and goes to ground. They end up back in Eternity Springs with their looks different hoping not to run into anyone they know. Devin is back in town and runs into them (not knowing who they are) but soon Jenna figures it out and tells Devin. This because a relationship between the two that becomes serious as Devin is going to help her find her stalker once and for all.

The more Devin falls for Jenna it scares him and he plans to leave soon to go back to Australia. Well they know have a big decision to make as far as what their future will be.

This is my first time reading one of the Eternity Springs novels (this is number 16) and it is absolutely delightful. A perfect holiday novel that will put a smile on your face by the time you finish it.
