Charlie Parker is hired by Zetta Nadeau, who is an artist, after her boyfriend, Wyatt Riggins, has vanished after receiving a text that said ‘run.’ His investigation leads him to a Mexican cartel and missing children of a leader of a cartel, Blas Urrea, and a series of murders. There’s also a plot involving Charlie’s dead daughter, whose spirit is in limbo and a group of bad angels is trying to control her. Charlie is up against forces like never before and he is in for quite the battle to find Wyatt. This is the 22nd novel in the series and it’s another great one, with a top-notch story and the supernatural element working great together. Long-time fans of the series will enjoy this one.
