Luna Wright runs Apple Ridge Farms in Sunrise Cove, and is surprised to learn she has inherited 50% ownership with her boss, Silas Wittman dies, who she soon learns was her biological grandfather. She was adopted and never knew her real family. The other 50% goes to Jameson Hayes, who was like a son to Silas. They first meet at a bar, not knowing who the other was, and almost sleep together. They now have to work together, with a sexual tension around them, to save the farm. Seems Silas was in over his head, and they owe a big balloon payment in two months, and don’t have the money. They work together, along with the staff of the farm, including her out there grandmother, Stella, her best friend, her ex-boyfriend, and an adorable kid (sheep) named DZ. And they finally give into their passion, only to have a misunderstanding, that could derail saving the farm. This is the fifth book in the series, and another good one. The supporting cast of characters, including the many animals they have, are the highlight of the novel. Fans of the series will be happy with this one.
