In college, Riley Wynn and Max Harcourt had a romance, that was ten years ago. Today Riley is a pop star who writes about her heartbreak (think Taylor Swift), and after breaking up with her husband Wesley. Her latest hit is called ‘Until You’ and Wesley implies he’s the subject in order to get publicity, and hits online. Riley then reaches out to Max, who she hasn’t talked to in years, and he never followed his dreams into music, to ask him if she can claim the song is about him, he agrees, as long as he can join her band. So they hit the road, and their attraction, and feelings return, so know the question is can they fall in love again, and stay together both personally, and professionally? A really good rom-com to start the year off. You get invested in these two, and want them to be together. This husband/wife writing team has done a great job with this novel.
