Luke is married to Barnes, who is a Republican United States Senator, and they have to kids, and have been married for ten years. They met during the first season of the reality show, Endeavor, a Survivor-style show, which Luke won, and they both returned during season two, which Luke once again won, and got together and got married. Today, a scandal has broken involving Barnes, who has been cheating on him for years, and there’s a video that goes viral. Luke leaves him, files for divorce and custody of their two kids. With no money of his own, he is approached to be on the 20th season of Endeavor, for a lot of money, and he decides to do the show. The show has a lot of returning players who are all out for themselves. Then, in a shocking reveal, Barnes joins the show mid-season, Luke falls for another contestant, shocking plots are revealed, someone is punched, and a blackmail scheme is going on. For Luke, he discovers new things about himself, and how he wants to move forward. This book is awesome. It’s a page-turning, character-driven novel, and the scenes of the reality show make you wonder if that’s how all these shows are filmed. You root for Luke to win and get to have the happy life he deserves. You don’t want to miss out on this one!
