Three years ago, Andi Zeigler and Nolan Crosby met at a bar in an awkward way. Then she took him home, and they almost had sex, and then he left, and they never talked again. Today, Andi has written and self-published some steamy erotic novels under a pen name that haven’t sold much. She is also the personal assistant to the wife of Canada’s Prime Minister, and on this day, she meets the PM’s new bodyguard, who turns out to be Nolan. They pretend they don’t know each other, and end up fake dating, after rumors in the press is that Andi is having an affair with the Prime Minister. It is also rumored that she is the author of the novels, which have exploded in sales, which she denies. Andi and Nolan start dating and spending a lot of time together, and soon have hot sex, and fall for each other, which is difficult because he has no intention of staying in Ottawa, or does he? This is a well-written rom-com, with two characters who both have issues, who help each other work through them and fall in love. It will leave you with a smile on your face.
