Reenie Bigelow and Felicity Ward were best friends in highs chool until they weren’t. Felicity changed and they lost touch, and now today she’s in jail, and charged with two murders. She worked at a strip club and also as an escort, and two of her clients ended up dead. Reenie, who works at a fashion magazine, gets permission to cover the story, due to her connection with Felicity and write about it. When Felicity will not talk to her or anyone, other to say she’s innocent, Reenie returns to their hometown and interviews the people who knew her, including the families of the dead men, and even gets a job at the strip club Felicity worked at. Rennie does not believe she is guilty of murder and is determined to try and prove it no matter what it takes. It leads to a shocking discovery that could change everything. An intense mystery that shows you can go home again and that sometimes you don’t know people the way you thought you did. You follow along on Reenie’s quest to help her friend, and hope that she is able to. A good end of the year mystery.
