Book Review: ‘The Becoming: The Dragon Heart Legacy Book 2’ By Nora Roberts

The second novel in the Dragon Heart triology is as good or better than the first book and perfectly sets up what should be a thrilling finale to the series in the next book. We get a lot more character development, more of the magical world of Talamh, dragons, a great dog and lots of family and a few battles along the way. Breen is now in Talamh, along with her bff Marco, who came along for the ride. She’s being trained by Keegan and their relationship is also heating up. Marco has also met a guard named Brian and is in love. But things are getting serious. The threat from the her Grandfather Odran on the other side is getting stronger and the only one that can defeat the bad guy is Breen. She’s learning more and more each day but needs to learn a lot more. There’s parties, trials, deaths and an attempt on Breen’s life from a scorned woman. It will all lead the final battle to come in book number three.
