Tallulah Aydin, who is 26 and in school, agrees to be the Au Pair for Boston hockey tough guy Burgess Abraham (37 years old), aka Sir Savage. He is divorced, with a 12-year-old daughter, Lissa. After seeing a clip of him being violent on the ice, she has second thoughts, but soon relents and decides to give it a try. There’s an attraction between the two of them right away, and soon they act on it (with some steamy sex scenes), and fall for each other. But a devastating injury changes everything, and if they’re to survive as a couple, Burgess will have to fix things between them. This is another great rom-com from author Tessa Bailey, who never writes a bad novel. You root for these two characters to be together. A perfect beach read.
